OBJECTIVES

• Internationally disseminate and publish multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary research findings on Nusantara;
• gather researchers and those whose interest is in Nusantara from various disciplines;
• establish Universitas Indonesia’s reputation as an acclaimed university, both nationally and internationally, through Nusantara Studies;
• boost the number of internationally indexed publications (Scopus) in Universitas Indonesia.

DISCUSSION AREAS

The conference presents papers that discuss Nusantara from many perspectives, which cover identity, politics, history, philosophy, gender and sexuality, economy, environment, language and literature, health, technology, law, anthropology, defence, and contemporary issues.
