Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

Oral Presentation

Presentation requirements:

  • Each presentation should be prepared to last NO MORE THAN 15 minutes.
  • The presentation will be followed by 5 minutes for questions from the audience.
  • The submitted file will be used for the presentation.
  • Speakers will not be able to use files imported from email, flash drives, computers, or any other device on site.
  • Files should be registered at the registration desk by using the following naming convention: Oral presentation number#_LastName_TopicKeyWord.ppt  (ie, O2_toni_TechPhar.ppt) and Presentation Slides in the subject line.
  • Files should be no larger than 10 MB.

Slide Requirements:

  • A FINAL slides must be submitted as Microsoft Power point with the .ppt or .pptx file name extension before 10.00 AM on the presentation date at presentation room.
  • Slides should be proof-read carefully for grammar, spelling and other errors prior to submission

Poster Presentation

Poster specifications

  • The maximum poster size is 100 cm (high) x 80cm (wide). Posters must be portraited in orientation (A0).
  • Your poster must fit within these parameters

Poster presentation should include:

  • The paper title and all authors at the top of the poster
  • A brief introduction, objectives, methodology, results and discussion, conclusion, references and acknowledgement (make sure this information is presented in a logical and clear sequence).

Set-up

  • Posters set up please see scientific program, or the posters will be considered a no-show and your manuscript will not be published.
  • Pins and tape will be provided at the help desk.
  • A schedule of set up, tear down, and presentation dates/times for posters will be announced later.

Poster Session

  • A poster author or co-author accepts responsibility for the accuracy of the submitted abstract.
  • At least one presenter must present at the poster board during the session in order to answer questions from attendees.
  • All posters must be removed promptly after the poster presentation session end. Posters that remain in place after that time will be removed. The committe is not responsible for posters that are unclaimed, damaged or lost before, during or after the conference.

 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  4. If submitting to a peer-reviewed track of the conference, authors' names are removed from submission, with "Author" and year used in the bibliography and footnotes, instead of authors' name, paper title, etc.
