Biosciences contribution to sustainable development of our world is essential and shows a growing impact. Meanwhile geosciences continue to play an important role in understanding the critical environmental problems faced by human beings. This includes activities from molecular and systems biology to global changes in earth and environment.

Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Universitas Indonesia, once again being the host of scientific meeting to discuss biological, environmental and earth systems in various aspects. The third Life and Environmental Sciences Academics Forum (3rd LEAF) 2019 aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and academics to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of biology, environmental and earth sciences and to discuss practical challenges faced and the solutions adopted.
