The 1st Physics and Technologies in Medicine and Dentistry Symposium

Physics is a fundamental natural science, and its applications extend universally. These includes the application in diagnostics, treatments, biomedical engineering, and materials science in medicine and dentistry. Biomedical sciences are a set of applied sciences applying portions of natural science or formal science, or both, to develop knowledge, interventions, or technology that are of use in healthcare or public health. Further, physics are incorporated in bioengineering principles and practices that are used in hospitals, industries and research laboratories. The 1st Physics and Technologies in Medicine and Dentistry Symposium initially started in 2017. Motivated by the encouraging results of and responses to the increasing research in the biomedicine research. The 1st Physics and Technologies in Medicine and Dentistry Symposium (PTMDS 2017) to be held on July 15-16th, 2017 in Depok, Indonesia. This meeting is aimed at providing the needed forum for scientific communication and interaction among distinguished scientists working in the field physics, medicine, dentistry and related fields. In turn, the seminar on the latest research results will present the state-of-the-art development in the field and help to chart our future research directions. This event is also designed to offer the opportunity of making direct contacts with the young Indonesian scientists and students with well-known scientists abroad, and thereby fostering the existing research collaborations and extending international research networking for the future.
