Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished complete research manuscripts in the field of library, archival, and information sciences. Submissions must not have been previously published or under consideration elsewhere.

All manuscripts must be written in English and prepared according to the following formatting and structural requirements:

Manuscript Requirements

• Length: 5,000–6,000 words
• Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
• Line spacing: 1.15
• File format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)

Authorship Information

The manuscript must include:

• Full names of all authors (no abbreviations)
• Email addresses of all authors
• Complete institutional affiliations (no abbreviations)

Manuscript Structure

The manuscript must be organized in the following order:

• Title (maximum 12 words)
• Abstract (150–250 words), including background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusion
• Keywords (5 words)
• Introduction
• Literature Review
• Methods
• Results / Findings
• Discussion
• Conclusion
• References (APA 7th Edition)

Submission Quality Standards

• Manuscripts must be written clearly and follow academic writing standards.
• Tables, figures, and illustrations (if any) must be embedded within the text at appropriate positions.
• Citations and references must strictly follow APA 7th Edition style.

Publication Note

Accepted papers will be published in SINTA 2–5 accredited journals, subject to reviewer evaluation and authors’ revisions based on peer-review feedback.

Submission Preparation Checklist

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).

   
   

2. The manuscript is written in English and follows the conference formatting requirements.

3. The manuscript length is between 5,000–6,000 words.

4. The file is submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.

5. The manuscript includes title, abstract (150–250 words), keywords (5 words), and structured sections (Introduction, Literature Review, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References)

6. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

7. All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://pkp.sfu.ca) are activated and ready to click.

8. All authors’ full names, emails, and institutional affiliations are provided in full (no abbreviations)

9. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Conference

Authors who submit to this conference agree to the following terms:
a) Authors retain copyright over their work, while allowing the conference to place this unpublished work under a Creative Commons Attribution License, which allows others to freely access, use, and share the work, with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and its initial presentation at this conference.
b) Authors are able to waive the terms of the CC license and enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution and subsequent publication of this work (e.g., publish a revised version in a journal, post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial presentation at this conference.
c) In addition, authors are encouraged to post and share their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) at any point before and after the conference.
