This conference and its Organizing Committee try to ensure the highest Ethical Standards for all involved parties:
FOR REVIEWERS
- Scientific quality: Peer review is essential part for scientific publication. Based on Reviewers decision and comments are selected papers for final presentation and publication. If necessary authors are asked to make revision of their submissions.
- Promptness: Any selected reviewer who feels unqualified to review for chosen manuscript or knows that its prompt review will be impossible should notify the editor and excuse himself from the review process.
- Confidentiality: Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. They must not be shown to, or discussed with others except as authorized by the editor.
- Standards of Objectivity: Reviews should be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Referees should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
- Acknowledgement of Sources: Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument had been previously reported should be accompanied by the relevant citation. A reviewer should also call to the editor’s attention any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and any other published paper of which they have personal knowledge.
- Disclosure and Conflict of Interest: Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.

The presentations that make up the current and archived conferences on this site have been made open access and are freely available for viewing, for the benefit of authors and interested readers.
About Conference
Research, including its dissemination activities, is one of the univeristy’s fundamental task. Further, its also a tool for university to respond issues and challenges in a society. Within this consciusness, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Indonesia held their first international undergraduate symposium. The international undergraduate symposium and postgraduate conference is placed for undergraduate and postgraduate students, researchers, academics, and practitioners to present their view and collaborate on social and political issues and challenges. This event will be held on October 25th – 26th, 2017 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
With main theme “Inclusive Society and Social Transformation: Social and Political Challenges”, this symposium expects active participation of undergraduate students in presenting their views on that issue. We invite national and international undergraduate students to present and publish their research with several topics.
