The 2nd International Symposium on Current Progress in Mathematics and Sciences

Margo Hotel, Depok, Indonesia

November 1, 2016 – November 2, 2016

This year ISCPMS will be held in Margo Hotel Depok, Indonesia. The local time at the conference area is GMT+7.

Despite the existence of solid evidences that mathematics and natural sciences have substantially contributed to our everyday life and our present technologies, not so significant support and appreciation have been devoted by our societies to the research and development in mathematics and natural sciences, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia. However, we have also witnessed that the number of successful research groups contributing to mathematics and natural sciences is increasing in this country, which indicates the growing of awareness that all people on this planet are responsible for advancing our knowledge of mathematics and natural sciences.

Unfortunately, those research groups are facing not only the problem of research grant, but also the lack of research tools, experiences, skills, as well as communication among the researchers. The latter is in fact very important, because it is well known that the advancement of mathematics and natural sciences has benefited from the idea exchanges that occur during discussion in symposia, conferences, or other formal forums. It is the main purpose of this international symposium to provide those researchers with a friendly and comfortable forum which could motivate them to increase their ability as well as productivity in their research activities.

Due to the universal nature of both mathematics and natural sciences the symposium invites not only researchers from developing countries, but also all interested scientists from developed countries. Indeed, the symposium will present a number of prominent scientists from Korea, Japan, Europe, and USA as keynote speakers. This will expose the pertinent, though not exhaustive, current progress in mathematics and natural sciences, that would be important to all interested researchers for providing a better future, especially in the development of their fields as well as for supporting new technologies.

Papers related to this conference theme include theories, methodologies, and emerging applications such as recognition of activities of daily living are encouraged. Contributions covering theoretical developments and practical applications, including but not limited to the following technical areas, are invited:

  • Mathematics and its applications
  • Pure and Applied Physics
  • Chemical Sciences
  • Biological Sciences
  • Geosciences

All accepted papers after review process will be published in the AIP Conference Proceedings indexed by SCOPUS
