Overcoming the complexity of international crimes by optimizing the implementation of knowledge transfer. This paper presents the results of a systematic literature review of research on knowledge transfer in Interpol organizations. Some of the articles analyzed were drawn from studies published between 2000 and 2022. The analysis shows that previous research focused on intra-organizational knowledge transfer. Barriers to knowledge transfer are grouped into technology, knowledge transfer strategy, and knowledge management culture. The research recommendations explore the role of technology and knowledge transfer in efforts to tackle international and transnational crime. Practical recommendations include increasing interpol training and cooperation between countries.
