Abstract

The sedimentation process represents morpho-dynamic and hydrodynamic aspects. However, hydrodynamic-related sedimentation studies are more studied, it can be said that the portion of the sedimentation study with the aspect of hydrodynamic aspect is done more than the morpho-dynamic aspect. The morphosedimentary study is one of the approaches that can be done to conduct a sedimentation study with a morpho-dynamic aspect point of view. Brebes Regency is one of the regencies on the north coast of Central Java with the most intensive accretion. This study's general objective was to interpret the bed load flow through morphosedimentary features in the nearshore zone of Brebes Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. This research used bathymetry data from GEBCO, National DEM Data, dan field Validation. From the desk analysis result, we found depression in the western part of the Brebes coastal area with the 15 m depth in the middle of the upper slope morphosedimentary area. To validate the result, we overlayed it with National DEM Data. The final result shows that the depression no longer stays in the same place. The final result shows that the bed load flows started from the west bay of the Brebes coastal area toward the northeast
