Abstract
The objectives of the research are 1) To find out the average of students achievement interaction of Geography Learning Evaluation (GLE) in using type of learning with the students prior knowled. 2) To find out the average difference of students achievement of GLE that uses STAD type and JIGSAW type in learning. 3) To find out the average difference of the students achievement of GLE to the students who have low prior knowled that are thought by using STAD type and JIGSAW type in learning process. 4) To find out the average difference of the student achievement of GLE to students who have high prior knowled that are thought by using STAD and JIGSAW type in learning.
The research to uses experimental with factorial design. Factorial design is used because of interaction hypothesis is presence; the population of this research is about 44 students of regular program and 40 students of non regular program. The instrument in collecting the data is instrument test of learning achievement after giving treatment by using STAD type and JIGSAW type in teaching learning process.
The result of this research shows: probability score interaction in type of learning of regular student program for the students who have prior knowled is about 0,028, for non regular students 0,19 there is interaction.
Mean of the students achievement of regular program which are thought by using JIGSAW type is 68,91 and STAD type is 63,27. Probability score or the significance score is 0,238, there is no difference. Gain at JIGSAW tipe are 0,38, STAD tipe 0,22. The average achievement of non regular students who are thought by using JIGSAW type and STAD type have the same score 64,60. Probability score is 1,00 so there is no difference. Gain at JIGSAW the same STAD tipe are 0,31.
The average achievement of students regular who have high prior knowled that is thought by using STAD type is 48,00 and JIGSAW type is 64,36. Sig score (2 tailed) between STAD type and JIGSAW type is about 0,022 so there is significance difference, gain at JIGSAW tipe are 0,19, STAD tipe -0,19. The average achievement of the regular program who have low prior knowled that is thought by using STAD type is about 78,55 and JIGSAW type is 73,45. Sig score between STAD type and JIGSAW is 0,276, so there is no difference. Gain at JIGSAW tipe are 0,57, STAD tipe 0,54.
The average of achievement of students non regular who have high prior knowled by using STAD type is 57,20, JIGSAW is 55,20. Sig score (2 tailed) between JIGSAW type and STAD type is 0,837 so there is no difference, gain at JIGSAW tipe are 0,15, STAD tipe 0,18. For have low prior knowled that is using STAD type is about 63,60 and JIGSAW is 65,60. Sig score between STAD type and JIGSAW is 0,605, so there is no difference, gain at JIGSAW tipe are 0,43, STAD tipe 0,49
