Abstract

Palabuhanratu Bay's coastline is a popular tourist attraction due to its stunning beaches. The variety of beaches on Palabuhanratu Coastal Bay is what attracts people to this location. The appeal of each tourist site is determined by a number of factors, including the availability of tourist attractions and related infrastructure. This study attempts to determine the level of appeal of coastal tourist attractions in the Palabuhanratu Bay region. The link between the availability of attractions and amenities determines the evaluation of a tourist attraction's appeal. The method of Spatial Multi-Criterion Decision Analysis (SMCA), which is based on the computation of the weight of the criteria derived from the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, is used to describe the link between these variables. Attractions consisting of site attractions and event attractions, secondary facilities consisting of hostels, restaurants, and gift shops, and conditional facilities consisting of parking spaces, places of worship, and public restrooms are utilized as criteria in this study. On the basis of eight characteristics, the results indicated that site attractions carry the most weight, followed by hostels, restaurants, event attractions, gift shops, houses of worship, restrooms, and parking lots. According to the results of the weighing analysis, the beaches of Citepus and Karanghawu are highly desirable. Gadobangkong Beach, Batu Bintang Beach, Cibangban Beach, Sukawayana Beach, and Sangrawayang Beach are attractions with intermediate attractiveness, whereas Cimaja Beach and Loji Beach are attractions with low attractiveness.
