Author Guidelines

Publication Policies

Papers submitted to icLave should be original work, i.e. the same paper must have not been published or accepted for publication in any other conference in full or substantial part; and must not be submitted to any other conference for concurrent publication or being considered for publication

 

Registration

Manuscript preparation

Manuscripts must comply with the following guidelines before entering the review process.

 

Language

Papers must be written in Bahasa,Standard British/American English. The language of the paper should be very comprehensible and moulded in proper syntax. Do not use any slang or jargon. Abbreviations and acronyms should be clearly defined when they are first introduced in the text.

 

Length of paper

The total length of the paper must NOT exceed 10 pages, following the format of full paper template. The 10 pages paper includes all references, tables, figures, and so on. If your paper consists more than 10 pages in total, each of 1 (one) additional page cost $25.

 

Format

Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word and followed the template of full paper and or abstract.

 

Title File

Name the Title File as Paper Title(space)(dash)(space)Author Name
e.g: Effect of  PPKM Policy in National Economy – Umar Sebastian.docx

The Title File should include these items within:

    1. 5000 words for Proceeding (excl. abstract, reference list, tables/figures, and author’s bio).
    2. The title (mr./ms./etc),
    3. Authors’ names,
    4. Affiliations,
    5. A complete address for author, corresponding authors or co-author (if any) including telephone and e-mail address, and
    6. A short bio at the end. Max 1000 word (explain your academic and professional background + achievement)
    7. Title file are saved in *.doc/.docx format, single spaced, using Times New Roman font 12.

 

Blinded Manuscript File

Name the Blinded Manuscript File according to the Paper Title 
e.g: Effect of  PPKM Policy in National Economy .docx

    1. Document Should not contain names and affiliations within.
    2. Use the third person to refer to work the Authors have previously undertaken, e.g. replace any phrases like “as we have shown before” with “… has been shown before [Anonymous, 2022]”.
    3. Make sure figures do not contain any affiliation related identifier.
    4. Do not eliminate essential self-references or other references but limit self-references only to papers that are relevant for those reviewing the submitted paper.
    5. Please begin the chapter with a descriptive abstract (100-400 words) summarizing the content of the article and indicate the abstract with the heading ABSTRACT. Other essential headings include: INTRODUCTION, CONCLUSION (not Conclusions; not Discussion; not Concluding Remarks); REFERENCES and any other headings deemed necessary within the chapter to reflect the important subsections or divisions.
    6. Cite papers published by the Author in the text as follows:  ‘[Anonymous, 2022]’.
    7. For blinding in the reference list:  ‘[Anonymous 2022]’ Details omitted for double-blind reviewing.’
    8. Remove references to funding sources.
    9. Do not include acknowledgments Remove any identifying information, including author names, from file names and ensure document properties are also anonymized.
    10. Manuscripts file are saved in *.doc/.docx format, single spaced, using Times New Roman font 12.
    11. No footnotes or endnotes are allowed, and all citations should appear in text using the author – date system.
    12. Page numbering should be at the bottom center of each page, without any header/footer.
For references, authors are advised to use Chicago Style Manual(7th ed.).

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or Word Perfect document file format.
  3. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  4. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Conference

Authors who submit to this conference agree to the following terms:
a) Authors retain copyright over their work, while allowing the conference to place this unpublished work under a Creative Commons Attribution License, which allows others to freely access, use, and share the work, with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and its initial presentation at this conference.
b) Authors are able to waive the terms of the CC license and enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution and subsequent publication of this work (e.g., publish a revised version in a journal, post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial presentation at this conference.
c) In addition, authors are encouraged to post and share their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) at any point before and after the conference.
