Author Guidelines

Abstract Submission process

Initial submission: Submit your abstract of no more than 250 words via our online submission system. Authors are encouraged to strictly adhere with ICAPPS’s abstract format. Please see the template and an example of the abstract.  At this stage Submission ID number will be assigned to your abstract.  You can choose mode of presentation, either ORAL or POSTER presentation. Your abstract will then undergo a double blind peer review. Once ICAPPS’s academic committee has made a decision of either accept or reject your abstract, a notification email will be sent to your email address.

Submission of a revised abstract: If your abstract is accepted edeither with or without amendments, you are required to resubmit your abstract via email to icapps@farmasi.ui.ac.id. At this stage the abstract should be saved as a .doc or.docx and as a PDF file. An email to confirm your submission will be sent to your email address.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://pkp.sfu.ca) are activated and ready to click.
  4. The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Conference.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed track of the conference, authors' names are removed from submission, with "Author" and year used in the bibliography and footnotes, instead of authors' name, paper title, etc.
  7. If submitting to peer review, all Microsoft Office documents (including Supplementary Files) have been saved by going to File and selecting Save As; clicking Tools (or Options in a Mac); clicking Security; selecting "Remove personal information from file properties on save"; clicking Save.
