Peer Review Process

 All submissions to the 9th International Symposium of Jurnal Antropologi Indonesia (ISJAI 9) are subject to a review process conducted by the symposium’s editorial and review team.

  The review process applies to all submission categories, including oral presentation abstracts, film screening proposals, and book sharing proposals.

  Submissions are reviewed based on the following criteria:

  • relevance to the symposium theme;
  • clarity of focus and argument;
  • contribution to anthropological discussions and debates.

  Reviews are conducted using a peer review process by coordinator panel, in which the identities of reviewers are not disclosed to authors.

  The editorial team may recommend revisions or adjustments, including session placement or presentation format, to ensure thematic coherence and balance within the symposium program.

  Review decisions are final.

  Authors will be notified of the review outcomes through the ISJAI 9 online submission system.
