Collaborative Learning in Blended Programming Class

Abstract


Students at a university have different learning abilities. Some research shows that Blended Learning can help to reduce this gap. It is unfortunate that collaboration measurement has not been revealed much in this approach, as a good collaboration is crucial in the career world, especially at the middle and top levels. This study will reveal the extent to which blended and collaborative learning can help Informatics Engineering students to study programming languages. The aim is to find ways to improve collaborative abilities and transfer of knowledge between individuals,in both face to face and online class. In addition, research was also conducted to determine the challenges and obstacles in applying these two learning approach together.
