Abstract

Marginalization has become an interesting generic phenomenon. Marginalized communities are the real accumulation from social injustices resulted from the behaviors of the imbalanced majority authorities towards the minorities. This has become a disturbance and this situation has been practiced by a number of countries annexing the marginalized communities into their union. The Papuans, the marginalized minority, had understood the “ignorance politics” practiced by the government concerning their basic rights in the fields of education, health, economy, business, and politics. They are intentionally ignored in many fields of development. This situation has fertilized the feeling of hatred which might become a trigger of the nation’s disintegration.

This paper is will describe and proportionally reveal the Papuans’ inner feelings for so long as a result of the nation’s social injustices. It is necessary that some facts, data, and information be informed concerning the shackling of the fundamental rights for the Papuans. It is also imperative to minimalize various phenomena that may become the triggers of the nation’s disintegration which may also be entangled in the global politics.
