Abstract


Abstract: This study aims to develop a CMS-based web-site, as "teaching media" specificallyon Learning Methods subjects, at the Information and Communication Technology EducationDepartment, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Manado. This research refers to themodel developed by Borg and Gall (1983), which focuses on research models and productdevelopment. The developed CMS-based websites being tested by content experts and mediaexperts to determine the level of validity and reliability, before being tested in the targetgroup. Three questionnaires were used to collect data: first, the feasibility test by mediaexperts, second, the feasibility test by content expert, and third, the trial test/try out bystudents. Tryout / trial is carried out at the level of individuals, small groups, and largegroups (field try outs). At the individual level four students were involved in a try out,followed by 12 students in a small try out group, and at the final level, a large group tryoutinvolving 30 students. In general, the results of evaluations from media experts and students showthat the developed learning website has been adequately developed and is suitable for use in thelearning process.Keywords: Web Programming, Learning, CMS
