Abstract
The social, economic, and political inequalities that occur in ASEAN are fundamentally due to differences in the natural resources, geographic location, human resource quality and politics of each ASEAN state. Therefore, every country in ASEAN has different strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges to build its own country. Above all, the importance of integrity and commitment among leaders and communities within a state is very influential to the success of a uniform and maximum build-up. As an illustration, the rampant cases of corruption, collusion, and nepotism (CCN) that occur and are covered by the media in ASEAN countries are making us fall further behind the developed countries that have always been very seriously against such criminal acts. Writing this journal, the author develops with the nature of writing in a descriptive and non-experimental. The journal tries to analyze the causality between corruption levels and inequality in ASEAN. This study uses secondary data types. Secondary data were obtained from research journals, books, survey results, and scientific articles. Data collection methods conducted by the authors are using systematic methods, referring to some literature, literature review and identifying from various inputs and information. The process of analysis is done on the collected data which is then presented in the discussion. Data analysis was done by descriptive approach. Synthesis is done using cross-link between data collected with relevant theory and concept. To sum up, the adoption of good, transparent, accountable and responsible government is the solution to all three issues. In this case, CCN is owned by all parties - CCN actors are not only government but also private and public society. Consequently, all parties must jointly combat this criminal act so that the goal of the SDGs in 2030, with the slogan “Leave No One Behind” in reducing inequality, can be achieved maximally.
