Abstract

Sea and land breeze are phenomena that affect the characteristics of weather formation in a place, especially coastal areas that are directly adjacent to the ocean. One of the areas located on the Southern coast of the Java island, is Palabuhanratu, Sukabumi. This study will provide an overview of the characteristics of the diurnal pattern of land and sea breezes in the Palabuhanratu area in the form of bay. The data that will be used in this research is ERA5 global analysis data produced by The European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF). The results of data processing, it is estimated that the sea breeze starts blowing at 6 to 8 am and starts to stop at 17 to 19 pm every day. Meanwhile, the land breeze starts blowing at 20 to 22 at night and starts to stop at 3 to 5 in the morning every day.
