This study aims to identify the form of local wisdom of Kampung Kuta in environmental conservation from a geographical perspective and to find out the meaning of forest in the local wisdom of the indigenous people of Kampung Kuta. This study for this research is to know the form of local wisdom in Kampung Kuta in environmental conservation from a geographical perspective. And also to know the meaning of forest area in the local wisdom of the indigenous people of Kampung Kuta in Ciamis Regency. The research method used is qualitative with technical data collection by observation, interviews, and literature studies. The focus of this research is on the local wisdom of the indigenous people of Kampung Kuta in preserving the environment in the form of recommendations and prohibitions contained in Leuweung Gede's preservation, preservation of springs and palm trees, and all of the customary rules for building houses. All forms of local wisdom of the indigenous people of Kampung Kuta in environmental conservation have rationality and have the potential as sources for teaching materials from a geographical perspective.
