Abstract


The development of tourist attraction areas cannot be separated from community participation. The study of tourism can be used as an object of study for geographical research because there is a relationship between ideas about space, namely physical phenomena that exist on the earth's surface. The environment has a reciprocal relationship between humans and the environment as well as regional determination, both similarities and differences in areas that have distinctive characteristics. The purpose of this study was to design a model of community participation in the development of Cipatani nature tourism and to take an inventory of the geographical factors that influence the development of Cipatani nature tourism in Nanggewer Village, Pagerageung District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative with field observation survey method. Analysis Techniques with Descriptive, SWOT. Community activities are a form of community participation in the development of Cipatani nature tourism.
