Learning resources have an important role in providing various information and knowledge needed to develop the desired competencies. The development of local potential-based teaching materials carried out in this study refers to learning resources by utilization with the concept of a field laboratory. Given the process of learning activities can be done anywhere, inside or outside the classroom (open space / field). The research method is carried out by using observation techniques and field surveys. The development of local potential-based teaching materials can be adapted from the suitability of field laboratory indicators: Laboratory Definition/Description/Naming, Laboratory Functions, Scientific Studies, Laboratory Design/Site, Infrastructure, Tools and materials, Organizational systems, activities, and Safety/Disaster Aspects.
