Last modified: 2022-11-16
Abstract
The government's Spatial Plan is an endeavor to make land use in Indonesia more productive and sustainable for present and future generations. A regulation on Sukabumi's spatial plan was enacted in 2012 and is effective until 2032. This research focuses on six villages in Palabuhanratu, Sukabumi, and tries to determine if changes in land use from 2012 to 2022 conform to the spatial plan. This analysis makes use of the Sukabumi Spatial Plan Map for 2012-2023, the Sukabumi Land Use Map from 2012, and the Sukabumi Land Use Map from 2022. The overlay methodology is used to determine if changes in land use over a ten-year period are more consistent with the spatial plan or vice versa. Land use variables include rice fields, forest, settlements, water bodies, industry, tourism, and farms. According to the collected results, the appropriateness of land use with the spatial plan in 2012 reached 71.54 percent, while in 2022, it will have decreased to 51.49 percent. The land use changes in the six research villages during the past tenĀ years are inconsistent with the spatial plan.
