Abstract
This study aims to determine the factors that cause the conversion of agricultural land to settlements in Seputih Raman District, Central Lampung Regency. This research uses descriptive analysis method. The population in this study were all areas in Seputih Raman Subdistrict that experienced changes in the use of agricultural land into settlements, which consisted of 14 villages. The data collection used are field observations, documentation and interview methods.
The results showed that the factors that influence land use change are physical factors and economic factors. Physical factors consist of topography, soil type, irrigation system and climate, while economic factors consist of population, land selling price, and public facilities. The distribution of land use change in Seputih Raman District occurs evenly in every village.
