Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic that hit cities all over the world including DKI Jakarta had a very significant impact, especially on the health aspect in terms of the potential for death. This study aims to analyze the effect of high accessibility of health facility services provided by the government, the number of vaccinated residents, population density, and building density on the fatality rates due to COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta which is divided into four periods : before the first vaccine, after the first vaccine, after the second vaccine, and after the third vaccine. The methodology implemented in this study is quantitative, both in descriptive and inferential analysis, by applying the Geoda application based on secondary data and other related literatures. The result of the study is that the implementation of vaccination has a significant effect on reducing the fatality rate due to COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta from the first period into the last (4th period). Meanwhile, accessibility to health facilities, population density, and building density do not significantly affect the death rate due to COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta. From the results of this study, it is recommended to provide vaccinations in an effort to gain the criteria for herd immunity and reduce the impact of deaths due to COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta.
