Abstract


Childhood period is a good and perfect moment for learning in human life. At the present time, there is a big difference between farmer times and modern children life. This is because of the effect of globalization in 1960’s. Globalization has many advantages in life. On the other hand, it also has bad disadvantages, especially for children. One of them is pornography. Linggasari (2015) says that KPAI states that currently Indonesia is in an emergency situation of pornography and online crime for children. The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of psychoeducation “To be Smart Parents for Children in Digital Age”, in order to increase parent’s knowledge to prevent pornography for children. This research uses one group pretest-posttest design with a follow up. Subject of this research consist of 12 parents of the fifth grade students in SDN 01 Sungapan. Research data is analyzed by quantitative using statistic test (paired sample t-test ). Measurement tool used in this sampling is parents base knowledge test of the danger of pornography for children, which refers to Bloom taxonomy and Krathwohl (2002) (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0,805). Psychoeducation modul, “To be Smart Parents for Children in Digital Age” is written based on theory of the danger of pornography by Kastleman (2016). The research result is psychoeducation is able to increase parents knowledge about the danger of pornography for children.
