Abstract

Introduction. Reproductive health is one of the many health problems experienced by adolescents and needs family support as the closest part of adolescence in dealing with reproductive health problems. Family support given to adolescents to improve the quality of utilization of reproductive health services available at Puskesmas can reduce reproductive health problems experienced by adolescents. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship of family support to the quality of utilization of adolescent reproductive health services.Method. The study used descriptive correlational design with cross sectional approach. A sample of 370 teenagers in the work area of Martapura 1 Health Center was taken by random sampling technique.. The data collected was analyzed using univariate, bivariate and multivariate tests. Results. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between family support and the quality of utilization of adolescent reproductive health services (p value 0,000). Conclusion. It is expected that families and communities can enhance their role as supporters who play a large role in the family by providing support to adolescents to improve safety services, and health workers have an important role to play in improving socialization for those who need health services for adolescents.
