Abstract
DKI Jakarta Province with an area of 662 km2 has become a living space for 10 million people, even in 2035 the population of DKI Jakarta is projected to be 11,459 million (BPS, 2018). Development in Jakarta is massive and rapid with high built land, so that the conversion of green open spaces into non-green areas is inevitably avoided. So from the above problems there was an awareness of the importance of environmental balance in development in Jakarta, which was realized in the development of Green Open Space. So that awareness is needed to find land and provide green space in the capital. This research will focus on South Jakarta, the existing open green space in South Jakarta only reaches 4.95% of the total area of South Jakarta, this figure is still far from the 30% that should be owned by South Jakarta. Efforts be made to increase the quantity of Green Open Space in South Jakarta can be bridged through the application of the Green City. This study uses physical and administrative mapping methods which will then be further analyzed using Geographic Information System (GIS) -Based Multi Criteria Analysis using Land Suitability parameters for Green Open Space Development some spatial and non-spatial aspects, namely, Access to Water Sources, Density Population, Building Density, Inundation, Land Carrying Capacity, Ideal Temperature and Humidity. From the results of the analysis, a grouping based on urgency which is very important is formulated which is 9.43 Ha, important is 235 Ha, and important enough is 321.33 Ha. The clustering model is intended for priority information in the procurement of Green Open Space, so that the implementation of Green Cities can be carried out in South Jakarta.
