Abstract


During the leadership of President Sukarno, Tiongkok has an important meaning not only for the people of Indonesia. Sukarno as a political man paid special concern to Tiongkok as a source of political concept. In addition, Tiongkok also has significance for the Communist Party of Indonesia (PKI) as a political community as a meeting room prior to communist ideology. The Topic using a literary study method concern about diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Tiongkok in the period 1949-1965. The relationship exhibit the role of closeness between Indonesian leader Sukarno and Tiongkok leader, Mao Tse Tung. The political dynamics at that time brought the spirit of the New Emerging Forces. Both are based on mass mobilization politics. Where Mao Tse Tung used the Tiongkok Communist Party, while in Indonesia the role played was PKI.
