The paper looks into the Chinese dilemmas in promoting the Sino-Indonesia “People-People Contact” after “One Belt and One Road Initiative”(OBOR).  The paper argues that the “people-people contact” is one of the key elements to realize OBOR, however, China is facing two dilemmas: how to deal with the ethnic Chinese Indonesian and the Islamic powers, It seems the Sino-Indonesia “People-People Contact” will be bleak in the near future.
