The Influence of Organizational Culture towards Individual Readiness to Change (A case study at Human Resource Department Institution X)

Abstract


Purpose – The purpose of this study is to understand is the influence of organizational culture towards individual readiness to change in Human Resource Department at Institution X.  This study investigated how each dimension of organizational culture such as adaptability, consistency, involvement, and mission has influenced the individual readiness to change.

Methodology – Empirical research, data was collected through questionnaire to the employees of Human Resource Department at Institution X.

Findings – The findings show that indicate there is a significant influence of organizational culture towards individual readiness to change and all of the dimensions of organizational change simultaneously influence the individual readiness to change (probability (Sig) 0,035 (3,5%) < 0,05).

Limitation – The limitation of this paper is that the respondent of this study was limited to a certain population of employees of Institution X.

Originality – The study adds to the literature of earlier research about the organizational culture and individual readiness to change.
